Video Production Agreement

Defines the pre-production, filming, editing, delivery obligations, final video formats, and the number of included revision rounds, with additional work billed separately unless agreed in writing.

Sets shoot dates, locations, approval deadlines, and client obligations such as providing access, brand assets, scripts, contacts, permits, releases, and timely feedback.

States the project fee, required deposit, milestone or final payment deadlines, treatment of travel and production expenses, late payment consequences, and conditions for releasing final files.

Clarifies whether the client receives a limited license, commercial usage rights, exclusive rights, or copyright assignment, and conditions those rights on full payment unless otherwise stated.

Specifies whether raw footage remains the videographer's property, whether raw files may be purchased or licensed separately, and how long project media will be retained after delivery.

Requires both parties to protect confidential business, event, campaign, or personal information and may restrict public posting of project materials before an agreed release date.

Addresses cancellation fees, non-refundable deposits, weather or venue-related rescheduling, termination for breach, and payment owed for work completed before termination.

Allocates risk for venue access, permissions, talent releases, third-party claims, equipment limitations, force majeure events, liability caps, indemnity obligations, and the process for resolving disputes.
